For the safety of all of our guests, we all strongly recommend taking kayak lessons before renting on your own. It is not required, but knowledge and proper preparation are your lifeline.
Alternatively, go with an ACA certified, safe boater-licensed, and insured kayak guide, like the those serving kayaking and ecotour needs around Amelia Island, including Fernandina Beach, Yulee, Cumberland Island, and the Okefenokee Refuge.
